*Just Desserts*

Well, we had a very eventful weekend. Friday night daniel and jamie came over and Jamie and I cooked breakfast for dinner. It was a feast, actually. Pancakes, eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy! Saturday We lounged around and wasted most of our day. We went out to my parents house around 4. Sunday we had a busy day as usual. Church, dinner, small group. I decided to take my mini cheesecakes for small groups (we have pot luck dinner every week) and then I thought "well I need to take food food too" so I took fishsticks. (Adam made fun of me at the thought!) Anyway, everyone gets there, and there are JUST DESSERTS. So in other words, my fishsticks came to the rescue. Too bad there were only like 48 of them and a whole bunch of hungry people. Today was my day off (liike I work sooo much, lol) I got some cleaning done and then my $300 Walmart grocery trip was successful! (I ran out of everything at once as usual.) Anyway, we got out CSI Miami Season 4 collection in so I better go watch it with Adam.

Let me Out of HERE!

Ally went to bed at like 10 last night and the first time she woke up in the night was around 5. (this is the normal lately.) Around 8 I heard her stirring once again. I had a horrible headache, so I just prayed "God, let her go back to sleep just for a while so I can sleep this headache off". Finally around 930 my headache was gone, so I went in to her nursery because I heard her talking. She had woke up, found her binky and was just hanging out so I decided to jump in the shower. Got out, dried my hair. Now in my house, you can see the bathroom from her room. When I left the bathroom this is what I saw. . . SHE WAS PEEKING ON ME!

What We've Been up to. . .

It seems like I have been too busy to keep up with my blog. I only have like 3 faithful readers (I think) so to those 3 I apologize. Here's whats new in the Rodgers house.



We will put Ally down on her back to eat, and she always rolls over, picks her bottle up with her mouth and eats like a dog. haha. Sunday morning she actually had sucked the air out of the drop in completely so she was achieving her goal and actually getting milk out like this! It was hilarious because she decided to get up and move about while doing it!

Ally has started taking baths in her big girl duckie bathtub. (my shower is competely disgusting I know. Before I came along Adam and his roomate craig didnt believe in cleaning and now theres permanent yuck from it. We ARE working on this though!

Adam came home at lunch and went to check on Ally who was napping. She did have Raff's arm in her mouth sucking on it, but by the time I finished laughing and got my camera, she had pulled it out. Im telling you, this girl loves to be covered up in her sleep!

She is working SOOO hard on crawling. She does push ups, and can get ANYWHERE she wants to go, she pulls one knee, crawls a little and falls, then starts all over again.

Mini-Vacation

Adam, Ally, and I headed to OKC last weekend for a little getaway. We stayed in a hotel that had a pool, so Ally got her first swimming experience. (Photos Ahead. . .) We went to Lenscrafters and got adams eyes checked. I thought *foolishly* that it would be WAY cheaper to go there since its a "chain". Well. His eye EXAM was 140.00 and his glasses were 450.00. So I think we will stick to good ole' woodward docs. from now on. Anyway, we hit up babys r us and had a good time while we were there.

Hey WHOS THAT BABY?

Happy Birthday. . .to me

Well, tomorrow will be my 23rd birthday. I know, old right? Anyway, it's Wednesday night, at church. You're probably wondering why Im blogging. Well my adorable 5 month old daughter LOVES to yak during Wed. night church. There is no nursery on Wed. night so basically I Spend the whole time out in the foyer. Tonight I decided to come into my moms office and hang out on the computer. She is in her pack n play happy and quiet as can be but as soon as I go back in she will start up again. Tomorrow I will be going to Enid with my mom and grandma. Sounds boring to most, but exciting to me, who NEVER get to go out of town. Anyways, Ally is growing like crazy. I need to weigh her, but keep forgetting about it until Im somewhere without a scale. I have 2 pending Tupperware parties that I am in the process of getting closed and another party next week. I would say January is looking like another bonus month so far if all goes through!

I thought I'd better put a picture up of Ally on New Years Eve. Her bib said "wake me up for my midnight kiss" lol. Someone shouldve woke us both up!

Okay so Ally has started this weird thing. <<<<<<<

She is like burying herself under anything she can find in order to go to sleep. So much for the SIDS risk. She loves to have her head covered. This is our comforter on OUR bed. Of course when she is sleeping in her own crib we dont let her just be suffocated, but its pretty cute when we can watch her 24/7. Anyways, I have my first tupperware party in like a month tomorrow. I always seem to be really nervous when they are spaced that far in between. Well, thought I'd better add some new pics since I revamped my space.

Happy New Year

Well, we had a great (boring) new years Eve. We went to church (picture of allys new years eve outfit later) and afterwards we had a little finger food get together. The youth group was havin a "lock in" until 1am. Adam wanted to stay for that so Billy and Gena gave me a ride home around 830. Ally got her bath, and got right to bed. Meanwhile, I was able to finish my Spa Girls Series, well the first book anyway, called She's All that. I started on the second one, A girls best friend, but was dozing off while reading, so I went to bed. Adam left early so he could spend the new year with me, but found me asleep. He tried to wake me up but that wasnt happening. He told me this morning he had NEVER seen me sleep that hard. I guess I even got a text message during the night and didnt even hear it or check it. You know how they always like keep beeping when you have a missed call? My phone kept beeping every 5 minutes or so. Adam nudged me to get it, I slept through the whole process. He finally got up, walked to my nightstand and did it for me lol. Anyways, today we went to Billly and Tinas house and had black eyed peas (tradition) I didnt but everyone else did. Now we're out at my mom and dads house, fixing to go home after the movie.
Adam decided to move our elliptical into our living room so we will use it more (its a space saver from nordic track so it doesnt take up much room). Hopefully I will feel the urge to use it since its going to drive me NUTS takin up space in my living room.
